Hi Beau,
This WEDNESDAY 14th October, 
big Kevin Henty is at the Wheatsheaf Marsh 
Green with his latest combo, 
ATLANTIC CURRANTS. 
As the name suggests, 
they play a mix of Americana and English folk, with a bit of country in the mix. 
Kevin's melodeon is joined by Carrie on fiddle, Malcolm Peet (dobro, lap steel, 
mandolin, guitar and backing vocals) and Dash Ashworth (vocals and guitar). A 
good night guaranteed!
You can see Kevin's unmissable alter ego 
JUMBO GUMBO at The Cardinal's 
Error, 8.30 on THURSDAY 22nd October. I defy 
anyone to leave this dose of fast and furious zydeco without a big grin on their 
face!
PIG'S EAR will be playing at The 
Wheatsheaf on WEDNESDAY 28th October. This 
unfortunately will be our last Wednesday bash at Marsh Green - numbers have been 
declining, and it's not viable to continue. 
Do come and support our 
final flings at the Wheatsheaf, Marsh Green (if you're coming straight from 
work, I recommend the nosh!), and the monthly "do" at the Cardinal's, if you 
possibly can. Keep music live! 
Those of you who like the Mick Ryan songs 
that Grant and I have stolen might be interested to know that Croydon Folk Club 
are putting on Mick's latest "folk opera", The Navvy's Wife on 
Monday 26th October. It comes highly recommended, and I for one will be there. The club 
meets at Ruskin House, Coombe Road, Croydon.
