Around the World 2010 is at Cecil Sharp House, 2 Regents Park
Road
NW1 7AY
this weekend, 24-25 October. It is the traditional dance event of
the year
with two action packed days of demonstrations and workshops.
There will
be more than fifty groups participating over the weekend, all
from the
greater London area. Most groups give a twenty minute display and
also a one
hour workshop where you can try the dances yourself.
Saturday
night there is both the spectacular Latin/American event and also
a Cajun
dance and on Sunday night there is a general international social
dance,
with instruction, and also a conference event about African and
all
included for just £10 for each day including the evening, £17 for
both
days and
£2 reduction for concessions.
