Sunday Nov 1st  Dave Ellis & Boo Ellis  Dave's intricate guitar work and Boo's mellow vocals combining to create a sound completely their own. Dave has become known around the club circuit for his unique guitar style (sometimes using a 12 string tuned to fifths) while their song writing skills draw plaudits from audiences and reviewers alike. Always up for something new, a recent recording session for 'Some Day' saw the addition of castanets, cajon and shakers from Boo all accompanied by Dave on Spanish guitar.  Further information can be found on their web site: http://www.daveandboo.com

Shonaleigh Cumbers - Voice Workshop for Storytellers
“We will be covering basic vocal technique because "the worst story to be told is the one you can't hear".  We use narrative to make sense of the world, we use story to navigate our way through.  The person, child or adult who can tell a story has also developed the confidence to communicate in a job interview, to mediate in an argument and the confidence to know who they are.  We live in a world of Bebo, Facebook, text and email; many young adults find it easier to communicate electronically than enter into a dialogue face to face.” Suitable for beginners and people who have some experience of telling stories.
