Hello and to let you know that....
All tickets have now been sold for Cara Dillon’s
forthcoming concert at the Hailsham
Pavilion
(Sunday 7th February at
7.30pm) and we are delighted to learn that her latest
album
“Hill of Thieves” (an outstanding collection
of original songs and sublime interpretations
of traditional classics) was voted Album of the Year at
Monday night’s BBC Folk
Awards
We were also pleased to hear that Show of Hands deservedly picked
up two awards,
Best Duo and Best Original Song (Steve Knightley’s
“Arrogance
Ignorance and Greed”)
Bellowhead were once again voted Best Live Act, Jon Boden, Singer of the
Year
and
John Kirkpatrick, Musician of the Year
