Subject: Reminder: **New ** Story Practice group Farnham Maltings 18th Feb

Hi Folks
Just reminding you due to increasing demand- we are opening a second Storytelling Practice and Coaching Group in Farnham Maltings on the 3rd Thursday of the month.  Thanks to Farnham Maltings for helping us.
The  two groups will be known as Waxing Lyrical- Ewell and Waxing Lyrical - Farnham Maltings
These will be small, more informal groups to try out stories- try it and tell!!  If you don't have a story to tell yet, or  just want to listen- that is alright. You will still learn a lot about storytelling by taking part in the storytelling exercises and listening to other people! You will come and join us, won't you?
As the Farnham Maltings one is a pilot for five months- it would be helpful to us to know if you intend to come either now or at some time in the near future– even if you can’t get to the first one! Just reply to this email- and state your interest and possible intent! Many Thanks

Hi Folks

I have reposted all the info until April as there are a few changes from the last Surrey Storytelling Updates - so make sure that you use this post as your reference copy!

We welcome the new spoken word events in both Richmond and Guildford- and they will be featuring storytellers as well as inviting you to take part in their spoken word open mike! Plus there are rumours of a new storytelling club starting up in Richmond. Storytelling and the spoken word is really developing!!

Please note that “The Sanctuary” has recently implemented a “no shoes” policy for the main hall- so please bring sox or soft shoes to change into.

For more details on all events check the website www.SurreyStorytellersGuild.co.uk  or sign up to our FaceBook page for "Three Heads in a Well"

Please note: In view of the bad weather- please check the website in case of cancellation. We will try to make a decision at least 24 hours before the event and will probably send a mail to the people on this list.
