Subject: Cajun & zydeco comin' up!!
Hello all,

It's that time of the year again where spring will soon be turning into summer (well, in theory at least if not in practise...), we'll be taking a break from the workshops (never fear - they start again in September!) and Dindon Sauvage will be touring Kent!

Firstly though, this Friday (7th May), Jumbo Gumbo are playing at the at The Flower Pot (96 Sandling Road, Maidstone, Kent, ME14 2RJ) at 9.00pm.

Then on Sunday (9th May) it's the last CAJUN & ZYDECO DANCE WORKSHOP before the summer break.  2.30 to 4.30pm at St Peters Church Hall (154 Cromwell Road, Whitstable, Kent, CT5 1NA). Entry £3.50 - for more info call Satu on 01227 274340 or Ann on 01634 405840.

The following weekend Jumbo Gumbo will be playing on Friday 14th at The Fountain (37 Station St, Sittingbourne, Kent, ME10 3ED) at 9.00pm and also on Saturday 15th at The Crystal Palace (67-69 Camden Road, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, TN1 2QD) at 9.00pm.

Dindon Sauvage will be on their mini-tour from Sunday 30th May to Wednesday 2nd June - for venues please see the Events page at www.kentcajun.org.uk/events.html

The events page has also been updated with the 2010-2011 workshop dates so put them in your diaries now ;-)

Talking of diaries, events and updates - do keep checking the Cajun UK National Giglist at www.cajunuk.co.uk - there's plenty going on only just outside Kent over the summer which we're unable to list for geographical reasons(!) and now the evenings are getting so light there's no excuse really... Pack a picnic, stuff car full of friends and go and enjoy!
