London, South East Unpaid (Voluntary) Part time Artform: combined arts, dance, interdisciplinary arts, literature, music, theatre, visual arts Contact: Joe Plommer joeplommer_at_gmail_dot_com
Description
My name is Joe Plommer, I'm a young London-based photographer mostly working in the field of arts and music publicity. My work has been published in the Guardian and the Independent here, and in Japanese publications including Ongaku No Tomo and Japan Vogue.
I am about to begin an ongoing project in which I will produce location-based portraits of emerging (note: not necessarily young) practitioners in the arts - whether that be visual art, music, dance, literature, design, fashion, or something else.
I am looking for people who are still at an early stage in what they are doing, but who have already put a foot firmly on the first rung of the ladder, and have achieved somethign to show for it.
Locations for shoots will be mutually decided upon, and shoots will typically take an afternoon.
I'm afraid I'm not going to offer to pay any sort of expenses, but I will happily pass on full-resolution digital copies of the best shots, which you will be entitled to use for self-publicity. I hope this is a fair exchange.
Examples of my work can be seen at http://joeplommer.blogspot.com
I can be contacted by emailing joeplommer_at_gmail_dot_com, or phoning 07841 860 421
I look forward to hearing from you!
