A musical rumpus of frivolity and festivities celebrating gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender artists who have found voice through British traditional song and songwriting. In support of Folk Against Fascism.

Bad Shepherds
Saturday 22 May

Actor and comedian Adrian Edmondson (The Young Ones, Bottom) leads The Bad Shepherds, playing punk songs on folk instruments. Not as a gag, but because they really like the noise. They do songs by The Sex Pistols, The Clash, The Stranglers, The Jam, Sham 69, The Undertones, The Ramones, The Buzzcocks, The Specials, Talking Heads, Squeeze and others, even Kraftwerk!

Renga Ensemble with members of Bellowhead

In May the London Philharmonic Orchestra’s Renga Ensemble will collaborate with members of Bellowhead (Pete Flood, Brendan Kelly and Sam Sweeney) to perform non-traditional arrangements of traditional folk tunes.
