You have been recommended to us and we have obtained your contact details from your website. We would like to speak with you and your members about an exciting opportunity for your network to be a part of.

Marie Curie Cancer Care will be hosting The Great Daffodil Appeal at thousands of points throughout the UK during March. Collections are being held in Brighton on Saturday 13^th March. There are numerous other collections taking place in Lewes, Worthing, Crawley, Hastings. Bognor, Eastbourne, and Horsham throughout March. We would be thrilled for any members of SEFAN to perform alongside our charity collectors at any of the aforementioned areas.

Our previous collections have proved extremely successful, on average, our volunteers raise £80 from just an hour or two of collecting and those collections accompanied by entertainers such as yourselves, raised a substantially higher amount of donations.

We would love for any of your Network of acts to perform at a designated timeslot convenient for yourselves. We currently have 5 available timeslots between 10am – 12pm and 1pm – 4pm for Brighton. Each timeslot is an hour long starting on the hour. Slots in surrounding areas are filling up quickly so be sure to request your designated timeslot as early as possible.

I do hope this is something that the members of SEFAN would be willing to donate their time and talent to.

This year alone Marie Curie Cancer Care will provide care for more than 25,000 people with cancer, and our nurses will care for many more people in their own homes in Sussex. However the demand for our services increases each year and for every family we help, there is another that we can’t. Every hour of a nurse’s time costs the charity £20.00, so you can see just how valuable your support is in enabling us to help even more people with cancer and their families.
