Tenterden Folk Club present DAVID 
JONES in concert at the White Lion, Tenterden. 
Tenterden Folk Club, with 
support from the White Lion, presents David Jones in concert on Tuesday 29th June 2010 in the 
Saddlery at The White Lion Hotel in the High Street, Tenterden from 8.00 
p.m.  This follows our highly successful evening of Irish songs and stories 
in February and concert of songs of the sea with Tom Lewis in March, so early 
booking is strongly recommended.
 
David Jones is a 
folksinger and actor originally from

Jones it is worth mentioning that, over the years, he has sung with Heather Wood 
of Young Tradition fame, as well as the late Tom Gibney under the name “Poor Old 
Horse”.  He has also worked with 
As an actor David has 
played feature roles in many theatrical productions to favourable critical 
reviews and has performed across the 
David’s discography 
includes Widdecombe Fair, From England’s Shore, Songs of Exquisite 
Taste,
A Beautiful Life, Easy 
and Slow, and The Curates Egg, amongst others.  He has also featured on 
many other albums, not least the 2004 Silver Edition of Peter Bellamy’s The 
Transports.
