The second Music Extravaganza - St
Mary's Church (Church St, Eastry).  Saturday
                              5th June 7pm
Come along for an
evening of musical excitement and surprises much
as per last year.    The first
Eastry Music Extravaganza held May 2009 in the
church was a  melting pot of music genres
keeping the audience guessing as to what would
                              happend next!  it showcased
professional and amateur talent from all over Kent
                              including several from Eastry.   There
                              was  medieval,  classical,
                              jazz,     choral and dance tunes
(irish,  english and french) and even
percussion.  Each act was roughly 15 minutes
or less.   People gave their time freely
as it helped to raise money for the Eastry Village
                              News and church.
It was such a wonderful
evening that there will be another on Saturday 5th
June 7pm to about 9:30 with a break half way for
refreshments.  It will be in the church again
as the acoustics and general atmosphere are so
                              good.  and there
                              will be many new 'acts'.
The
aim is for young and old to experience a large
variety of styles and be inspired - maybe to have
                              a go themselves.
