Subject: ceilidh band for 11th September- two weeks time-- due to cancellation

Dear folk bands

we have been let down at very short notice and are in need of a band for a ceilidh on the 11th of September for what was supposed to be a very relaxed and informal wedding. The band we had booked a year ago has had to cancel.

We were expecting to pay £600.  ( we fear short notice increases prices)

The location is Clapham and Patching village hall BN13 3UT  and the date is a very close 11th of September, we had planned there would be a little music from 3.00  for the children to enjoy - and jig to -whilst the adults had some elderflower wine, and then a buffet at five after which we hoped to have a few sessions of ceillidh dancing interspersed with some tea and cake pauses.

we would be enormously relieved to hear from anybody who could fit the bill.
