Details of the music played, and a full rundown of the nominations can be found on the BBC Folk and Acoustic website, where you can also download a free weekly podcast.

BTW, continuing our Music Jokes section: How many folk musicians does it take to change a lightbulb?
10. I to change it, 9 to complain that it's electric.

This week we are thrilled to see a new album of original songs by Kate Rusby. www.netrhythms.co.uk/reviews.html#rusby
There's Darrell Scott's double album which some have said will be their album of the year (Darrell has been touring as part of Robert Plant's Band of Joy); www.netrhythms.co.uk/reviews.html#darrell
Chip Taylor & Carrie Rodriguez have released an album of some of their old and some new songs together - If there was a musical duo made for eachother it is those two.

Adrian Nation has finally come out of the shadows with a fine album which we hope gets the attention it deserves.
