events for our third annual Fairtrade Festival in Burgess Hill. Please do check
out our website for everything that is happening - www.burgesshillfreedomfestival.com
In the meantime I wanted to
highlight what is happening on our big weekend which runs from Friday 4th March
through to Sunday 6th March
Friday 4th March -
7.30pm
Classics & Cakes, St John's
Church, Burgess Hill
The Amici Consort comes all the way
from the Royal Academy of Music. The trio consists of 3 excellent postgraduate
students who will be performing a wide range of classical pieces on flute,
violin and cello. The trio are already performing internationally and are
sure to have good musical futures. They are joined by Matthew Socci,
a young classical guitarist and composer - dubbed the Einaudi of the
guitar.
The concert takes place in the
relaxed setting of St John The Evangelist Church, Burgess Hill and starts at
7.30pm. Tickets cost
£5.00 available from the Burgess Hill Help Point, Present
Company Burgess Hill or by email request to snowdrop1.music_at_virgin_dot_net

This year we welcome KATE'S KITCHEN BAND to
lead us in our ceilidh. This is an eight piece traditional band that will keep
you on the dance floor. Also joining us on the night will be The Flaming Czars, a
string and piano accordian duo with a passion for Eastern European and Middle
Eastern music
This will
be great night and it is really worth booking early for this event as
we only have around 80
tickets left.

each when you buy 4 or more). Food

(Ring 01444 242 888 for tickets or
go to www.freedom-leisure.co.uk to book online (click on entertainment and then Martlets

Described as the finest instrumental
duo on the traditional scene. Spiers and Boden have built up a formidable
reputation as artists inb their own right but also as part of the multi
instrumental band Bellowhead. Multi award winning with a style all their own
they are not to be missed. The gig opens with the beautiful singing of Julie
Hall, our local Burgess Hill singer songwriter and the edgy songs of
Gareth Davies-Jones.
Tickets are £14.00 each or £12.50
each for 4 or more
Please come along and support
Fairtrade and enjoy yourself at the same time. And do share this message with
friends and family.
Kind regards
