APRIL AT WALTHAMSTOW FOLK

Our April programme starts this Sunday 3rd with a return to the club by Les Barker

Inspired, bizarre and very very funny poetry.

Les hasn't played London a great deal recently and maybe not since his last visit to us (but we could be wrong). Whatever this is a chance to renew acquaintance with his poetry or experience it for the first time (without a sense of Deja Vu!)

On 10th we welcome back our regular visitors Dana and Susan Robinson

Hardcore Americana with guitar, banjo and fiddle; Dana & Susan are capable of stopping the clocks with their sparse, elegant, awesome music.

Then on 17th another favourite Pete Morton

One of England's finest songwriters: "not only impressive but a revelation......totally original." - The Guardian

The last sunday of the month 24th is Easter so the club will be closed, but the pub will be open!
