The lazy way to send a news item to KentFolk, with embedded images and fancy text.

Most browsers now have a “html” format that allows one to generate an email with fancy text and embedded images :

This image has just been copied (right click copy)

and then just pasted onto the page.

                                       http://www.kentfolk.com/News/KentFolk_News_2010-08/Web_info/KentFolk_How-Tos/KIF_7102_Ben-Paley_300_web.jpg

You may have to first shrink the image so that it is a suitable size (as above),

and does not hang over the end of the page (which would also take up lots of space and be slow to download).

KentFolk News is able to display a good representation of such a news item with graphics.

Send the email with an informative Subject line (it will be used for the title of the news item).

Note: if you have a number of events you also want on the calendar, see the appropriate How-To item.
