The Horsham Folk Club programme is available at http://www.horshamfolkclub.co.uk/

Sunday 12th June               Song & Dance. Songs, tunes and poems from members & guests plus dancing to our excellent ceilidh band.  Beginners and experts alike are welcome and our experienced callers ensure everyone can work their way through the dances with enjoyment.  These events are always great fun.
Admission £2 (members £1). Under 18s free.

Sunday 19th June               Bram Taylor is an entertaining artist with a distinctive voice and relaxed stage presence. He performs a wide repertoire of traditional songs, together with contemporary and humorous material, performed on acoustic guitar, duet concertina, or unaccompanied.
With a wealth of experience behind him, Bram has established a fine reputation which has gone from strength to strength on the back of tours in UK and American folk clubs, festivals and concerts. He has his audiences singing, laughing and occasionally, shedding a tear or two from some of the poignant songs he loves to sing. www.bramtaylor.com/     Admission £6 (members £4).  Under 18s free.

Sunday 26th June               Here Comes Summer Open Floor
Everyone is welcome to perform songs, tunes and readings in a relaxed, informal atmosphere.

The club has its own bar and plenty of free parking.

Summer Break

The Crawley Folk and Beer Festival runs from 24 June to 26 June.

Horsham Folk Club is again hosting the Friday Night Club session at the Festival but this year we have sold the Sunday afternoon session to the Lewes Saturday Folk Club.
The timings are as follows and entrance is free,

Friday 24th 1900-2300 Elgar Room - Horsham Folk Club
Sunday 26th 1400-1600 Elgar Room - Lewes Folk Club

Please come along and support these sessions as usual (they are always well attended).  And if anybody would like to MC for a while it would allow me to go and get a drink from the fabulous real ale selection.

Best wishes
John Byng

Your super eBulletins containing information about the availability of grants, changes in central government policy on such matters as H&S, child protection etc etc are not only useful in my musical activities but also in my involvement with the voluntary sector in East & West Sussex.
