MT Records are very pleased to be able to publish some of the North
American Traditions (NAT) series CDs that are no longer supported by Rounder
Records.
The fourth of these new releases features Nimrod Workman, the
extraordinary West Virginia singer, with Mother Jones' Will (MTCD512). The

celebrated traditional singers, and symbolically linking the region's idealized
past with the reality of its ongoing political struggles.
Tracks 1 - 18 originally appeared on Rounder LP 0076 in 1976, a
further 8 have been added to this 2011 production. Full Details, including

New picking weekend - north Somerset/Bristol
Keith Burrows and Cathy Benjamin report:
"We've been looking for a really good venue for a new picking
weekend in the Bristol area, and we think we've found it - Nick and Carol
Baker's lovely Lower Stock farm in the Mendips. Besides their beef herd, Nick
and Carol regularly have childrens' groups to stay, and therefore have plenty
of facilities for people like us - a nice campfield, toilet & shower block,
indoor picking areas etc. So we've gone for the weekend of 24th-26th June - and
we look forward to seeing as many old time fans as can make it".
