Unless you were in Scotland, you wouldn't have been able to catch BBC's Transatlantic Sessions on Thursday (it was broadcast on BBC Scotland only), featuring Iain Morrison among others (Eddie Reader, Sharon Shannon, Alison Krauss, Danny Thompson, etc).
