and to the media for as little as £3 per event Save Our Local Programming on BBC Radio Kent As you may have heard, the BBC is proposing dramatic cuts to
local radio services across England. If they go ahead here in
Kent it could result in Steve Ladner, Roger Day, Geoff Clark, Paul Miller,
Dave Cash, Richard Spendlove, Paul Barnes, Sean Rowley, Simon Evans, Bill
Rennells, Laura Earl and Pat Marsh and maybe others all being taken off air
and replaced by either a regional or national programme. If this were to happen, our gig information used by presenters
may also stand very little chance of being featured on air in the future. Because this would mean such a radical change to all local radio
stations, the BBC is obligated to ask listeners what they think of the
proposals. Please visit the link for the consultation and share
your views - it only takes a few minutes and could make a real difference. The public consultation is only open for a few more weeks before
a final decision is taken, so could I please urge you to spread the word
amongst colleagues and performers before it's too late. BBC Trust Unit, 180 Great Portland Street, London. W1W 5QZ Again I would emphasise that I have always believed passionately
in the valuable service that BBC local radio provides in getting messages
such as yours out to individuals and communities across Kent at all hours of
the day. Best wishes. Chris & Sandi -------------------- -------------------- NINE BELOW ZERO Sat 29th Oct at Cranleigh Arts Centre Go to BLUE PULSE October news where you can keep up with the

Levee REDAD CDE581 Released: 12th August 2011 Rosco Levee is a singer-songwriter and guitarist from Kent.
Having been encouraged to go solo by his old friend and fellow artist, Pete
Molinari, Rosco took some time out to write and play on his own. The band recorded this debut EP "Rosco Levee" at Jim Riley's
analogue Ranscombe Studios they are now gearing up for the album. "Rosco Levee" released 12th August 2011
on iTunes and CD through Red Admiral Records which coincides with their
Thanet Folk Week Festival gig at The Barnaby Rudge in Broadstairs. Press Quotes You'd have to be dead not to tap your foot to this. Levee's E.P.
is a fantastic riot of old school blues and country.???..Stephan Morris /
