Day of the Hurricane is the second instrumental album created by Gary since he moved to the USA. 
His first ?After Five' was recorded in 2010 and has been warmly received in the Smooth Jazz market.

Day Of The Hurricane was inspired by Gary experiencing several hurricanes during 2004 that passed over his home in Longwood near Orlando, Florida.
He comments
 "Watching the path of ?Hurricane Charlie' on TV and then to see the formation of the extraordinary clouds followed by the tremendous wind force was very scary."

Peter has been compared to many of the greats including his heroes Matt Monro, Mel Torme and Vic Damone with the unparalleled ease at which he sings, producing perfect melody and phrasing with velvet tones.


Peter from Lydd in Kent is recognised throughout Europe as a leading exponent of the styles of his heroes and when not on the road with the Big Bands, he also works as a solo artist and cabaret singer in the corporate arena.

 

Peter has performed regularly with throughout London with his own band and The Croydon Jazz Orchestra, Chris Smith and his String Of Pearls, The Len Phillips Big Band, Denis Hynes Small Band and in October in their 40th year tour The Syd Lawrence Orchestra.
