Oxjam 2012
There's exciting news from our friends at Oxjam - it's time
to start the planning for this year's flagship events!
Oxjam is a month-long festival of music events, run by
volunteers across the country to raise money for Oxfam. And now they're on
the look-out for people who want to take on the challenge of running some
of their biggest and best events of the year - the Oxjam Takeovers.
Takeovers are amazing multi-venue events (think Camden Crawl) that take
place across the UK on one weekend in October. They showcase the best local
talent whilst raising thousands for Oxfam's poverty-busting work round the
world. Last year 33 Takeover events entertained punters across the country,
from Aberdeen to Bournemouth and from Cardiff to Newcastle. All of them
were organised by teams led by Oxjam's Takeover Managers.

We also thought we'd take this opportunity to thank you all
for your donations during Oxjam 2011 - you helped make this the most
successful customer campaign we've ever held, donating over £3500! Topped
up with our booking fee donations, the total amount raised is a brilliant
£6722.
