An exhibition to celebrate 20 years of Tenterden Folk Festival

To celebrate twenty years of Tenterden Folk Festival we have joined with Tenterden and District Museum to stage a special exhibition.  We are collecting together a wide range of exhibits including a Morris dancers costume loaned by Woodchurch Morris Men, historic musical instruments, photos taken at the Festival and much more.  We hope to include some particularly exciting exhibits which we will announce once they are in place.  The exhibition will run from Easter to October at the Museum in Station Road, Tenterden TN30 6HN.

In the mean time we would be interested to hear from anyone who has any potential exhibits, old photographs of Maypole dancers, Morris dancers or other local folk traditions from previous centuries or information about local folklore, traditions or folk songs and music.
