Hello,

We've had an exciting start to 2012 - not least because we welcomed our one millionth customer last week - but also because we've had some great new developments go live. We thought we'd let you know about those, as well as a couple of other things you might be interested in...

*Facebook ticket shop*

We're really pleased to be able to unveil our new Facebook ticket shop - allowing anyone with a Facebook Page to sell tickets directly from there. It can be configured to list all of your events, all of your events at a specific venue, or if you're running a venue Page it can list everything we have on sale there (even if it's not your show).

We think it'll be a great addition to any Facebook Page, encouraging your fans to become ticket buying customers and allowing your Page to become an even more important part of your online presence.

Installation is really straightforward - simply click Facebook Ticket Shop in the left hand menu of your client admin area and it'll guide you through the quick and easy procedure. If you'd like to see how that looks on a Page, have a little click here: www.wegottickets.com/af/60/redirect/381 and see the 'Buy Tickets Now' tab.

*WeGotFestivals*

Early in January we launched WeGotFestivals - a new sister site of ours that lists all the festivals we have on sale. We'll be picking out a handful to advertise to our customers from there, also including an updates section where we can announce line-up additions or tickets going on sale.

Combined with the existing comedy site WeGotComedy:
www.wegottickets.com/af/60/redirect/382, we hope the new festivals site will help show our customers the great range of events we have on sale while engaging them further and encouraging them to browse the site and find that little gem of a festival they might not know existed!

If you'd like to take a look at WeGotFestivals click here:

*Charity campaigns - Oxjam and ActionAid*

As you'll know, we're always keen to support charities and each year run at least two major charity campaigns - one during October when we work as the official ticketing partner for Oxfam's Oxjam Music Festival, and another during December for a charity close to our hearts.

In our fifth year of drumming up funds for Oxfam we raised £6722.87. As well as including our highest ever set of customer donations and our own booking fee donations for all Oxjam tickets sold, it also included around £1000 of donations from our clients - so thank you for your generosity! Both ourselves and Oxfam are extremely grateful to those of you that supported the event by donating your ticket revenue.

We're also delighted to have raised £3473.37 for ActionAid's Kenyan radio project Muziq Speak in a 2011 Christmas appeal through a mixture of customer donations and WeGotTickets booking fee donations.

*Music Week Awards*

This year's Music Week Awards is now taking nominations, and while we couldn't possibly choose which of you deserves the recognition more we thought you might be interested in nominating friends and associates - or yourselves!
There are loads of categories, but perhaps the most relevant to a lot of you will be the Live Music Venue awards. A full list of categories and further information is available here: www.wegottickets.com/af/60/redirect/384.
Nominations can be emailed to mwawards_at_intentmedia_dot_co_dot_uk and should include: the category, who you are nominating and why. You don't need to write an essay or provide a case study, simply scribble down a couple of paragraphs explaining why you think your nominee deserves an award.
