Dear Everyone,

Gavin and Julie Atkin were to have been our guest performers this Saturday
(Feb 11th)  but Julie is in the grip of an evil chest infection and won't be able to join us. Instead, Gavin will play Jeffries duet concertina, fiddle and melodeon and sing for us. His repertoire is English traditional dance music, mainly from the south, and song; he also does some unusual music hall songs. Gavin belongs to the Florida dance band (http://www.floridaproject.org.uk/) and runs English traditional music classes in Frittenden, Kent.

There will be opportunities to join in some sets of English dance tunes, so bring an instrument if you play one.

Gavin will include the melodies of some of the songs from the shows which Julie would have sung.

Admission is reduced from £6 to £5.
