The Musical
Get-together, 6-7.45pm
This event is an enjoyable part of the culture day each
year. It links the afternoon events with workshops and other
interactive activities with the big evening concert. In a welcoming,
relaxed atmosphere musicians mingle with family, friends and
fans, and enjoy the performance of guests and some gifted LGO
musicians.
Call and
invitation to MUSICIANS to perfom at the Open Mic!
We would like
to invite performers of unusuals skills, instruments and musics,
as well as performers who really would love to share their favorite
song/tune. No restrictions, no rules, just pure music pleasure. You could
perform 2-3 songs/tunes... It's perfect to promote your group, or an
upcpming. You also can sell your CDs free of charge. We have a small PA
system with a few mics around, and can plug in a couple of
instruments...
As a performer you have free entry to the Musical Get-together. If you
register with us before the 20th March, you also will receive a
free ticket for one of the events - please email to Amy at events.lgo_at_gmail_dot_com with info of
yourself/your group and the music. If you prefer to turn up
spontaneously this is possible also - in this case put your name into
the open-mic list at the ticket desk upon arrival... sorry, no free
entry to other events for registrations later then the 20th March...
About the free
buffet cancellation:
We are so
sorry, but Cecil Sharp House have changed their regulations and we only
learned about that very recently, after creating this event. Now hirers
are not allowed to bring any outside catering, therefore we can't offer
to you our delicious buffet this time :-(
Soooo, we have dropped the admission fee to next to nothing, as
we still have to cover the hall hire for the event - AND: you can buy
food at the cecil sharp house cafe, or bring your own take-away, we
won't mind :-)
