Upcoming events

Shake off the dark in the next few weeks with music and dance from the Nest Collective. We've got some great nights coming up - last night saw the first of our Cocked Ale Free Folk nights in their new venue the Three Compasses; thanks to all who came along and made it a very special evening, especially to the hosts Band of Buriers. Next week, 31 January, is hosted by Tanya Jackson.

Tonight (25 January) we have spellbinding Norwegian folk from Sudan Dudan at the Old Queen's Head; coming up we've got the next Honeypot world music night on 15 February with Michael Ormiston and Voice; 23 February sees the return of Folk Rising in partnership with EFDSS, and mark your diaries now for 25 February - London's newest dance sensation, Reach For The Bunting, with the Ceilidh Liberation Front and AJ Holmes & The Hackney Empire.

Big news: we're delighted to announce Gypsies and Traveller Legends, Lore & Enlightenment, 24-26 February - a weekend of songs, dancing, traditions, folklore, plant lore and explorations of this extraordinary community with some of the finest characters and richest carriers of the old knowledge. Limited places only. Hosted by Sam Lee.

Enjoy planning your musical adventures for February! Love from Sam Lee and the Nest Collective.
