Subject: Cajun & Zydeco coming up!

Hello all,

Bit of a silence from here recently - apologies for that but life gets in the way sometimes...

Should be all up and running again with reasonably regular mailshots but do please keep checking as well as for gigs just outside Kent!

Anyway, few things coming up:

Firstly, go see Jumbo Gumbo at The Pilot (Upper Stone Street, Maidstone, Kent, ME15 6EU) at 9pm on Saturday 7th April and work off all those extra Easter eggs!

Then the week after, on Sunday 15th April, we have a Sunday afternoon family cajun dance with live music from Acadian Driftwood! - 2.00 to 5.00pm (doors 1.45), Wilmington Memorial Hall, High Road, Wilmington, Kent, DA2 7DW. Entry £7. For tickets or more information, please call
01322 524 440 or email f.norcutt_at_live_dot_co_dot_uk_dot_

It'll be lovely, so hope to see y'all there :-)

At the end of the month, Monday 30th April to be precise, Jumbo Gumbo are playing at the The Barnaby Rudge (Albion Street, Broadstairs, Kent, CT10 1NE) at 9.00pm

And on Sunday 13th May, it's our last CAJUN & ZYDECO DANCE WORKSHOP with Kay Anderson before our summer break. As usual, it's 2.30 to 4.30pm (doors 2.15) at the Wilmington Memorial Hall (High Road, Wilmington, Kent, DA2 7DW). Entry £5. For more information, please see call 01322 524 440, email f.norcutt_at_live_dot_co_dot_uk_dot_

And whilst on the topic of workshops - we have a really cool, Louisiana-Lounge -style new venue for the 2012-2013 season once we start again in September!
Whilst 'Wilmington' is a lovely hall, it's really tricky to get to on a public transport so we've taken the decision to move to the same venue as Cajun Barn at the Blackheath and Newbridge Social Club from September onwards - watch out for the full details on soon.

Exciting stuff!

Y'all enjoy the spring now and see you on the dancefloor!
