Subject: Update - Spyboy Festival Shows - this coming weekend

Hello

Hope to see you at one (or all three!) of our Eastbourne Festival shows

this weekend 13th/14th/15th (all start at 7.30pm and all have bar facilities).....

We start off with over three hours of Blues injected music on Friday night,

Upstairs at the Lamb in Old Town - Five incredibly talented players and topping the bill

is the French based duo Rag Mama Rag with their barnstorming mix of 20's and 30's Mississippi Blues

and East Coast Ragtime - still a few seats left (?15.00) - pay at the door.

On Saturday we are at the brand new Birley Centre (next door to the Congress Theatre)

where Tony Benn (possibly our most outspoken politician!) and Roy Bailey (possibly the finest interpreter

of both traditional and contemporary song!) present The Writing on the Wall a performance of writings, speeches

and songs taken from the words of Socialists, Radicals, Chartists, Suffragettes and Revolutionaries that illustrate

nearly 1000 years of campaigning for justice, freedom and equality.

..............Still a few Special Rate seats (?12.50 instead of ?21.50) available but ONLY by replying to this email....

some standards, and some you?ll have heard before by Sarah Vaughan, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald,

Stevie Wonder and Paul Simon.

The following weekend (Saturday and Sunday) we get ready to welcome our players from the USA.....

Steve Earle's little sister Stacey Earle journeys with partner Mark Stuart from Nashville, Tennessee,

and Albert Lee returns from his home in Malibu, California, to start a new UK tour.
