Hello,
We're proud to have been Oxjam's official ticketing partner
for the last few years and will be supporting the month-long music festival
raising money for Oxfam's great work again this year - and would love to
see some of you get involved too...
Oxfam are on the look-out for people who've got what it
takes to organise their own music events this October.
Oxjam is made up of hundreds of events, in dozens of towns and cities,
involving thousands of artists. All run by volunteers, and all raising
money for Oxfam. Local music, global impact.
Last year alone over 700 events took place across the UK, from Inverness to
Brighton and from Brick Lane to Neath. Over 200,000 people attended an
Oxjam event, making it the UK's biggest music festival.
Anyone who has registered as an event organiser by the end of May receives
an invitation to attend an Oxjam training day, run in partnership with
LiveNation and the Academy Music Group. These training days allow you to
tap into the wealth of experience of industry professionals, whilst meeting
other volunteer event organisers from across the UK.
So, if you love your local music scene, and like the idea of changing lives
by doing something that's both challenging and fun, visit www.oxfam.org.uk/oxjam to register to be
an Oxjam event organiser this October.
