FORTHCOMING GUESTS:

MAY 1ST ? BELSHAZZAR?S FEAST
(http://www.belshazzarsfeast.co.uk/)

Belshazzar?s Feast are Paul Hutchinson (of Hoover the Dog) on accordion and Paul Sartin (Bellowhead and Faustus) on oboe, violin, whistle and vocals. They blend folk, classical music, comedy and the odd music hall song. To quote Mike Harding: ?Their music is breathtaking and wickedly inventive and the between-tunes interchange is as intelligent and hilarious as the music. But they?re no lightweight comedy act - they finished the set with a spellbinding piece of oboe and accordion magic.?

MAY 8TH ? ANDY IRVINE
(http://www.andyirvine.com/)

Andy Irvine first emerged on the Dublin folk scene in 1962 and has been a leading figure in Irish traditional music ever since. He plays mandolin, bouzouki, guitar, banjo, harmonica and hurdy-gurdy and is a fine songwriter. Andy has been part of many of the great Irish groups, from Sweeney's Men to Planxty, De Dannan and Patrick Street. He is also well known as a soloist and for his collaborations with Paul Brady, Dick Gaughan, Christy Moore, Davy Spillane and others. Come early!

MAY 15TH ? CLOUDSTREET (AUSTRALIA)

Cloudstreet are Nicole Murray and John Thompson. Both have performed in various line-ups, first coming together as a duo in 1997 and turning full-time professional six years later. Nicole plays flute, tin whistle, guitar and violin, and is a fine writer of songs and flute tunes. John plays guitar, English concertina and whistle. Together, they make wonderful music ? theirs is an act not to be missed!

MAY 22ND ? AL PARRISH (CANADA)

Al Parrish?s huge, charismatic presence, boundless energy, and distinctive voice gave vitality to Canadian band Tanglefoot for 17 years until their retirement in 2009. Now performing solo, Al?s repertoire includes original material, as well as some carefully chosen traditional songs and a few Tanglefoot favourites. He plays these songs on acoustic guitar, on his trademark double bass, or simply sings them a cappella.

MAY 29TH ? BOB HALL & DAVE PEABODY
(http://www.boogie.demon.co.uk/ & http://www.allmusic.com/artist/dave-peabody-p19802)

Bob Hall is widely acclaimed as Britain?s finest blues and boogie pianist. He was a founder member of the Groundhogs in the sixties since when he has performed with the likes of John Lee Hooker, Chuck Berry and many others too numerous to list here. Dave Peabody has performed all over the world during his 30 years as a professional blues musician and has played with many of the leading blues artists of his generation. Together, they have a real affinity for playing straight-ahead no nonsense blues.
