OUT of Silver City, New Mexico, Ken Keppeler and Jeanie McLerie have spent a lifetime soaking up the traditional music of Louisiana, New Mexico and Arizona.  With fiddles, accordions, 5-string banjos and guitars they'll take you on a musical odyssey, reinvigorating the old songs and dance tunes with wit, warmth and style. Together for thirty years, their passion for the traditions of southwest America produces a wonderful Chilegumbo variety of music from the Cajun Bayous west of the Mississippi, through Texas, and into the mountains of New Mexico and Arizona.

Ken and Jeanie - the core of the band - continue to chase down old treasures on the tune trail, while putting together a few new ones as well. Playing as a duo, or joined by long time band members, the group continues to rock, waltz and chotis into the second decade of 2000. For us they will be a trio, joined by their talented godson Tomas Wentz on fiddle, guitar and vocals.
