It's a lovely
weekend for a trip to the seaside, so why not come on down to
Broadstairs tomorrow, have a paddle in the sea at one of the many
award-winning beaches, then treat yourself to a cool beer in the Lord
Nelson, listening to some cool music.
The Sally
Ironmonger Trio will be performing at about 3pm for a couple of
hours. Then you'll still have time for some lovely fish and chips
afterwards.... and maybe it will be a Raspberry Ripple Day. Hope
to see you there.
June Gigs
We have some
lovely gigs coming up in June
Friday 1st June - Sally &
Brian will be at the First Friday Folk & Roots club (www.firstfridayfolk.wordpress.com)
opening for the marvellous Richard Digance to a sell out crowd at the
Tom Thumb theatre.
Saturday 2nd June - we will be
hot-footing across the channel to Brussels to join our pals at the Kam
Klub (www.kamklub.eu) for
what will be a great intercontinental evening of music and beer and
fun.
Monday 4th June - back in
time to celebrate the Jubilee at the Sun Inn, St Nicholas at Wade,
where there is a great line up of music for the whole weekend, hosted

Saturday 9th June - Folk
Ale 2012 at The Kentish Horse, Markbeech, otherwise known as Pigs Ear
"Piggies" festival. Looking forward to our saturday
night spot, hopefully with guest appearance from the wonderful
Krista Bubble on fiddle. Also looking forward to catching up with
friends and listening to some great music.
Saturday 10th June - back to Broadstairs
for a trio gig at the Neptunes Hall. Starting around 5pm
Wednesday 13th June - A
midweek treat, at the Barge, Gillingham - brilliant venue,
and always a treat to play.
Saturday 30th June - Rounding
up flaming June with a return to the Trosley Country Park for the
magical music in the park evening (6.30 - 9pm) - bring your own
picnic & beer, we will provide the music, and hopefully a bit of

Tom Thumb First Friday Folk & Roots
I continue to
host the Folk & Roots Night at the Tom Thumb Theatre in Margate on
the first friday of each month. Coming up we have Richard Digance
(1st June), but this is now sold out. We have Kris Dollimore
confirmed for 6th July, so I suggest getting tickets early to avoid
disappointment. ?10 admission, tickets available from the
