BLUES AT THE HAWTH JUST GOT EVEN
BETTER!
You'll get even more than you bargained for when you come along to The Hawth
for Studio Blues in the coming months. As well as enjoying great music in a
cabaret setting (with food and drinks at your table), we are also delighted
to announce some top class support artists at the following gigs so you'll be
getting two or even three for the price of one! Don't miss out:
Thursday 24 May
Eddie Martin
One man band Eddie
returns to The Hawth and demonstrates again that he is as adept on the
harmonica as he is on the guitar. With his trademark bass-drum suitcase back
beat, his sets are breathtaking displays of instrumental virtuosity and sassy
song-writing.
Support: Eddie
Armer and Kevin Barber
Friday 22 June
Rag Mama Rag
One of Europes finest
country blues acts will be taking to the Studio offering '20s and '30s
blues-based songs that encompass Mississippi blues, East Coast ragtime, early
country and original songs. Ashley Dow (acoustic, national and resonator
bottleneck guitars and vocals), and Deborah Dow (harmonica, washboard,
percussion and vocals), create a hard driving rhythmic sound to get your feet
tapping.
Support: Dave
Beckett
