Eska
& Keston Cobblers Club
30 May: Eska's music
wears its experimental tendencies on its sleeve, and proudly so. She
uses her vocals in intriguing ways, invention and expression always
paramount. The Keston
Cobblers Club embrace contemporary styles and
traditional melodies. Turn the speaker up loud, grab your finest pair
of boots and tap along until the soles wear thin?

11 June: Two
amazing acts in one night - Bella Hardy, three times nominated for
BBC Folk Awards and one of the finest young folk acts
around, sings unaccompanied ballads or entwines her hypnotic
voice with her own fiddle accompaniment to breathtaking
effect; she shares the bill with chamber-folk duo O'Hooley &
Tidow, whose beautifully unusual songs touch on dark folk tales,
ecology, cross-dressing historical figures and more.
