Clements - 2012 & beyond
Foxy Music presents:
ROD CLEMENTS - ?Iconic folk
genius?. R2
Famous Lindisfarne hitmaker, writer of ?Meet Me On the Corner? and the
North-East?s master of slide guitar.
Rod Clements is one of British folk-rock?s true originals whose career
reads like a Who?s Who of the folk-roots world, including major collaborations
with Bert Jansch, Rab Noakes, Pentangle and Ralph McTell (Rod played bass on
?Streets of London?), and more recently with Thea Gilmore & Rachel
Harrington.
Spine tingling slide guitar, instinctive songwriting and a relaxed and intimate
on-stage presence with stories from all stages of his career, including tracks
from three acclaimed solo albums. Slide guitar workshops also available.
Foxy Music is seeking 2012 gigs and thereafter into next year & beyond,
including arts centres, festivals and folk clubs. Do get in touch for
more info. We like to work with venues large and small and are therefore
happy to negotiate individual requirements.
?I prefer the intimacy of smaller spaces and my enjoyment is
not conditional on the size or perceived prestige of the venue.? ROD CLEMENTS
