Subject: First Sunday tunes session at the Gun
Please pass this information to tunes-playing friends!
NEW: First Sunday tunes sessions at the Gun
I'd like to announce
our latest venture: a mainly English tunes session to be held at the Gun
& Spitroast pub, Horsemonden, starting at 8pm or so on the first Sunday
of the month.
The first one takes place on Sunday
the 7th October.
The idea is to playing a good mix of tunes, including whatever people bring
along, as well as our own favourites and a good helping of the tunes folks
have been been looking at during the Wednesday night classes (see the
http://www.frittendenfestival.com site for details).
I look forward to seeing some of you on the night!
Gavin
PS - The first of the regular Frittenden sessions for this season will be on
the 30th September, when our guest will be mighty melodeonist, singer and
fiddler Matt Quinn! See his website at http://www.mattquinnmusic.co.uk/
