THE DRAGON LOVER: Tales of Hidden Bulgaria

by A Spell In Time

Monday 7 October at 8pm

Spoken Word at Farnham Maltings, Bridge Square, Farnham, Surrey GUI9 7QR
-------------

He?s handsome, smiling, alluring, beguiling. His eyes are like fire upon water. He?s the man of your dreams. But is he all that he seems?
Delve into the darkness and discover... if he?s a man or a Dragon Lover.

Welcome to a world of dangerous delights where shapes shift and dragons dwell.  But some dragons wear their skins on the inside.

The Dragon Lover lures you into a realm of sweet seduction, magical enchantment and fatal attraction.
With a spellbinding mix of storytelling, ritual and evocative music, A Spell In Time presents a dark jewel from the heart of Bulgarian myth and folklore.

A Spell In Time is a unique British-Bulgarian storytelling company that brings Bulgaria?s wonderful myths and folk tales to UK audiences for the very first time.
Performers in The Dragon Lover are: Moni Sheehan, storyteller, and Ivor Davies, musician.

Workshops for improvers and experienced storytellers

Saturday 24th November : Workshop :"Three Streams of Story" by Katrice Horsley.

The heart, the head, and the groin provide the intellect, love and passion of story. Katrice will help you explore how this affects our physicality when telling stories!

Time:  9.30am - 4pm.
Venue: The Sanctuary, Ewell Village.
Cost: ?40/?35 concessions.

Pre- Booking Essential by telephoning 07834 194215 or e-mailing SurreyStorytellersGuild_at_gmail_dot_com
---------
Note:
Please let me know asap if you are planning to come - otherwise I will open it up to other storytellers from across London.

This workshop assumes that you know how to learn a story and the basics of how to tell. This workshop is on improving and developing your technique of telling.

"Improvers and experienced" means " not absolute beginners," and that you can come with a story to tell - even if its an aesops fable!
