efolkMusic Artist Update

---

Hi, all,

It's been awhile, I know. Rumours of our demise were unfounded, instead we are coming back with a vengeance.

We've redesigned the website, and streamlined the operation with a goal to better serve our artists and fans, so I hope you will "stop by" and check us out! Our continuing mission is to get your music into more ears, so if you have something fresh and cool, please let us help you promote it. Every track on every page will now stream, with a cool media player accessible in the lower left corner. Try it!!!

If you log in to your artist account (There is a password retrieval feature if you need it...) you can go to your artist page (click on "artist admin" in the artist tools menu) to add/update your info. We are now using SoundCloud to provide streaming audio from artist pages, and highly recommend it for posting music to all of your social media outlets, it works great, provides excellent tracking and easy sharing. You will see the "Tracks" tab when you edit your profile, you'll just need to add your SoundCloud username (no spaces, so instead of "your username" use "your-username").

We are *still* a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the only NPO dedicated to keeping our overlooked art-form alive. We are volunteer operated- any spare change you might want to donate goes 100% to keeping the website going.

If you do have new music to promote, a tour, an event, etc., please send a note directly to me, chris_at_efolkMusic_dot_org, I'll try to give you some virtual "ink".

Travel safe,

Chris
