London Klezmer Quartet in the east:

19 May, LKQ _at_ Norwich Synagogue.

 Concert at 4.30pm - book tickets.

This weekend (3-5 May): Fiddles on Fire at The Sage, Gateshead. Lots of workshops and a concert featuring myself, Carol Isaacs and Francesca Ter-Berg on Sunday at 6.45pm. Info and booking

Classical stuff

Orchestra of the City is playing Beethoven and Mozart at St James's Piccadilly on 16 May. The programme includes Beethoven's Piano Concerto no. 4 with soloist Christopher White. Tickets

 

Handel's Susannah on bank holiday Monday 27 May at 6pm in Stoke by Nayland, Suffolk, featuring Essex Baroque Orchestra, Psalmody and a wonderful array of soloists. Directed by Peter Holman. Info & tickets

 

More Handel in July - Israel in Egypt on Saturday 6 July with Linden Baroque Orchestra and Borough Chamber Choir. 7.30pm at St Alban the Martyr, Brooke Street, London EC1N 7RD

 

Festival

Festival of Jim was set up in memory of She'Koyokh founder and accordionist Jim Marcovitch by his family and friends. It is a tiny and incomparably friendly festival of music, comedy and lovely people set in a magical woodland in deepest East Sussex. Find out more.
