Hiya
What a weird weekend, wish I could tell you all about it, ask me sometime. Disappearing stages, Ed (Ten Pole Tudor) Tudorpole, ( is that his real name??), and Verve Cliquot at a Folk Festival. Followed by the Battle of Bosworth and a canal boat. You couldn't make it up. Life is never dull. In fact sometimes I wish it was.
Back to business. I'm proud and relieved to say that Folk in the Barn has now joined the 21st century. No more licking and sticking - unless you want to! You can now book online! Wegotickets are providing the service, some of you may have used them before. They come highly recommended. For now I'll give you a weblink to click on which will take you direct to the relevant page. When I get organised I'll put the links on the website Diary page too. It means you can pay by credit card - for a small fee - you may think its worth it not to have to bother with cheque books and stamps etc. If you want to continue to book the old way, then that's absolutely fine too.
To book online follow the link. You'll then have to register and login with a password. I have a promoter friend who has used this system for about a year now and says its marvellous and has had no problems at all. It's a ticketless system, you are sent an email which you can print out and bring along on the night or just make a note of a booking reference number which I can then tick off against a list. Full instructions and info are on the website https://www.wegottickets.com/ Please note there's a different link to book concessionary price tickets
