Cocos
Lovers SXSW Fundraisers
Wednesday
5th March // The Windmill, Brixton, London.
Saturday 8th March // St. Mary's Art Centre, Sandwich, Kent.
Dear all,
Saturday
the 8th March live at St Marys, Sandwich, Kent
For those of you who don't know Cocos Lovers are off to SXSW in 8
days time, which is incredibly exciting news!!!
We have always been fiercely independent, thats why we started
Smugglers Records thats gone onto release 18 records always
with our passionate and ethical D.I.Y methods that we believe
in. However we don't have the backing of some of the bigger acts out
there, so need a bit of help in funding the trip (there is is 8 of
us!). This is a great opportunity for the band, our label and the
Kent music scene as SXSW is very much industry based and can open
many doors. To raise funds we have organised an amazing show at
St Marys Arts Centre in Sandwich which is Kent's most beautiful venue
on that the 8th of March. We are also recording the night to release
as a live album, which can be pre ordered on the night. This is the one
Cocos Lovers gig that should not be missed, there will be
collaborations, dancing, Local ales and ciders, food from Tyronne
(carribean curry chicken or veggie), lots of dancing and amazing
support acts in Arlet and Famous James & The Monters .... Don't miss
out book your tickets!!!
Either online HERE
or from the Admiral Owen in Sandwich or The Pop Up Cafe in Deal
