Subject: FATD SINGERS NIGHT - THURSDAY 20 MARCH 2014

Good Morning All,

I shall not be at the club this Thursday as I shall be attending the leaving do of a former work colleague.  Bill has kindly agreed to be MC for the night and Dave & Maureen will be bringing in the club bag.

As I shan't get the chance to talk to you on Thursday, I thought I would take the opportunity to say how much I enjoyed seeing James & Nancy at FATD last Thursday and from the feed back that I have received I know that you did too.  It was the best night that I can remember at the club and Alison summed it up in a text to me when she said:"Thanks for bringing Folk Royalty to the club".  You may not be aware but I underplayed the advertising in order to avoid a problem with people flooding in from other clubs and that worked so well that I probably did not need to reserve the seats, but then hindsight is a wonderful thing!  I shall try to book James & Nancy again for a date in early 2016 when I shall make it a members and friends only occasion.

Some of you will be aware that I am currently undergoing what have been referred to as "Barmy Tests" at present to see if a brain can be found in my head!  I thought therefore that I would share this kind and considerate offering from my best friend Martin:
