Meet the 'Wake the Union' artists at Herstmonceux Castle this summer!!

With Show of Hands on the road until the Autumn, Steve is assembling together a special line-up for a number of key festivals this summer.
At Abbotsbury, Trowbridge, Wickham and Sidmouth he will be joined by Miranda Sykes & Rex Preston and Phil Henry & Hannah Martin.

Then on August 19th and 20th this wonderful line-up will be supplemented by Martin Simpson and Andy Cutting where in the romantic setting of Herstmonceux Castle they will spend two days preparing a special ?Wake the Union Band' show for that weekend's Shrewsbury Festival which will then be performed at Hailsham Pavilion.

You too have a chance to join them at the Castle to meet the musicians and enjoy unique insight into how a festival headline show is put together!

What is included?

Informal acoustic sessions from midday on Tuesday in the beautiful and relaxed setting of Herstmonceux Castle.
Reserved seating for the ?Wake the Union Rehearsal' Concert at Hailsham Pavilion on Wednesday evening.
Coach transfers to and from Hailsham Pavilion.
Two nights accommodation*
All meals during your stay.
Sing around in the castle's own pub on Tuesday night for those of you who want to bring your instruments.
A chance to meet and chat to all of the musicians.

Please note this is not a musicians' workshop - you do not need to be able to sing or play to join us.

* Accommodation is on the castle estate and comprises twin rooms with bathrooms on the corridor. Rooms can be upgraded to en-suite. Single supplements and additional nights can be arrange.
