Hello - Quite a week!

A full house for Albert lee at the Hailsham Pavilion and over 300 of you at St Mary in the Castle, Hastings

for our night with Fairport Convention - thank you

Next up we are back at the Pavilion for our last show of our Spring season (Saturday 10th May at 7.30pm) with the trail-blazing father and daughter from the "first family of folk," Martin and Eliza Carthy, (pictured) who come together for a very special performance that is part of a national tour that concludes at the Queen Elizabeth Hall on London's South Bank.

For more than 40 years Martin Carthy has been one of folk music's greatest innovators,

and one of its best loved, and at times, most quietly controversial figures.

Eliza Carthy is undoubtedly one of the most engaging performers of her generation.

She has been nominated twice for a Mercury Prize and won innumerable accolades during a career,

that has seen her performing and recording with a diverse array of artists that include, Paul Weller, Rufus and Martha Wainwright, Nick Cave and Joan Baez.
