for the huge wodge of information below - it happens around this point
every year, once the shape of the rest of the year's tours is clear. At least
some part of it should be of interest to at least some readers?we hope! But no
more touring for us this year, not in UK anyway. Diamonds
On The Water is out there making its way in the world - and still
available from our online shop, naturally - but we
reckon you know that by now. Instead
we will be playing FESTIVALS and then, later, SOME INTERESTING ONE-OFFS. First
things first, though: we have a replacement show coming up shortly for the
one cancelled in March when we all went down with vicious sore throats. March

It's
now possible to buy a download of Oysterband's session for BBC Radio 2's The
Folk Show with Mark Radcliffe, which took place on February 12th. We were
honoured to be asked to add a song associated with the great Pete Seeger, who
died that week. So as well as live takes of "Spirit Of Dust",
"Diamonds On The Water" and "The Wilderness" from the
current album, it includes a version of "The Bells Of Rhymney", a
song of Pete's that became important to us during the 1984 UK miners' strike.
