Hello Legacy
friends.
We are back in Sussex at the end of the month!
May/June 2014
Gigs
Friday
30th May from 8.30pm we'll
be warming up at The Stone Mason's Arms, Petworth, West Sussex. Joining
us on Fiddle will be Jules Bell, our original Legacy Fiddler.
Tim is away unfortunately but we're very much looking forward to playing
with Jules. It's been over ten years since we last all played
together and we hope to play some of our early material.
Saturday 31st
May we're
opening the 'Festival In The Park' Festival in Midhurst, West Sussex.
This one is a ticket event and promises to be a great day out. Lots
of cool folk bands. We're not quite sure of the exact time we're on but
we think it will be lunchtime.

Saturday Evening
from 8.30pm we're back at The New Inn, Littlehampton. We always have a
great gig here so we look forward to seeing some of you again.
For both performances on Saturday we'll have Ben Paley standing in on Fiddle duty. Ben
is one of the most respected Fiddle Players in the south of
England. He was recently on tour with The Levelers when their own
Fiddle player was off sick. He's also part of The Mark Chadwick
(Levellers singer) band and new album due out this summer. We've played
with Ben many times in the past so we're excited to have this opportunity
to have him join us for two gigs!
Sunday 1st June,
We'll be at The
Red Lion, Arundel between 4-6pm. We had such a great gig
here last January. Come for Sunday Lunch, then sit back and let us
entertain you. With a bit of luck we're hoping Tim will be back in time
to join us.
Nick Scott will be on Pipes and Ale all Weekend and so will Mal, Paul
& Clare.
We won't be back in Sussex again until September so we hope to see some
of you soon!
