A ?Taster' Of Summer - Event Tickets Now On Sale!

Individual event tickets go on sale today for the Diamond Anniversary Sidmouth FolkWeek (1st-8th August). Co-inciding with the release of the tempting Taster Programme (download here) - offering a sneaky preview of the exciting range of events on offer throughout the week- it will be important to book some event tickets early, as they're bound to sell out!

How about the chance to see the legendary Ralph McTell in our Pre Festival Special on Thursday 31st July? Or, amongst the other Ham evening concert treats throughout the week, the world-renowned instrumental Celtic duo of Aly Bain & Phil Cunningham, the lark-like Irish songstress Cara Dillon; local legend and songwriting maestro Steve Knightley & Friends; the Northumbrian folk traditions and classical stylings of Kathryn Tickell & The Side; father and daughter tradition-bearers Martin Carthy & Eliza Carthy and the mighty Oysterband, with material from their superb CD Diamonds On The Water?
 
These evening concerts only scrape the surface of what's on offer! Our full programme will be out in July with the complete breakdown of all of the festival events, including concerts, dances, ceilidhs, a fantastic Children's Festival, In The Tradition sessions, great new names in the fRoots A Cellar Full of Folkadelia and EFDSS Folk Rising Plus series, dance displays, storytelling, Shooting Roots youth sessions, and a awesomely massive workshop programme!

As well as individual event, many festival goers will join us for the full week of celebrations, choosing a Week All-In-One ticket for greatest flexibility and value. Some will also, come down for a memorable weekend, with a superb NEW ALL-IN-ONE WEEKEND TICKET.
