ON
MARGATE SOUNDS
7.30pm,
?5 ADV / ?7 OTD
From swaggering blues and woozy shoe-gaze, to
off-kilter folk and low-fi fuzz (via pivot-shifting pop). The very
best emerging bands from across the Country, get your live music
fix here. This month featuring Rob Da Bank favourites, Wild
Smiles.
Winchester trio, Wild Smiles are a raucous, noise-fuelled fusion of
pop and danger. At heart, the band just want to write Beach Boys
style hymnals, but what comes out feels more like a distorted,
bracing view of Dinosaur Jr or The Jesus And Mary Chain.
