Monday 7th July
CLUB HYDROPATHE
7.30pm, ?2.50

A weekly night of off-beat cinema, wayward sounds and frequent surprises. From Bluegrass to Blue Velvet; New-Wave to No-Wave via a smattering of Noir.

You are cordially invited to join the Hydropathes.

Wednesday 9th July
JAZZ AT TOM THUMB
8pm, ?8

In March we brought saxophonist Phil Smith together with flautist Paul Cheneour for a stunning evening of jazz. It was so good that we have invited them to join guitarist Tony Hudd and double bassist Harry Cook to do it all again. It just doesn't get any better than this.

Saturday 12th July
TEAM OF THE DECADES
4.30pm & 6.30pm, ?10/?7 (CONC)

Team Of The Decades is a different kind of sports team: 10 audience, 1 coach and 1 captain. We don't play with winning or losing, we play with masculinity. With strength and weakness, fathers and sons, collisions and hugs. The show begins and ends at the Tom Thumb, but plays out in the great outdoors.

When your dad gives you an American football helmet for your birthday, how does it feel to put it on and stand at a traffic island?

Developed by Battersea Arts Centre

Team of the Decades takes place outdoors. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear.

Performance poetry: comedy's boring cousin, right? Stand up: poetry's idiot relation, yes? Let's find out! For the first time, the very best of the UK's spoken word scenes go head-to-head as comedy and poetry collide with unpredictable and hilarious results.
